How do I connect to a rolling spider mini drone?

Hi guys-

I recently purchased a rolling spider quadcopter and was all excited about flying it! I installed the app on my iPod and it works fine, but I'm trying to connect it to my MBA 2013, as I can extend the range even further and use a game controller instead. I read that the device uses some bluetooth low energy thing that I am unfamiliar with. Help would be awesome, as my game controller is gaining dust 🙂

peace

Unfortunately, unless someone around here has done this before, its unlikely you'll find any substantial help.

However:

I can't seem to find anything that even remotely indicates it can be controlled from a MacBook.

It would probably require some extra software, but you would need to look for that in drone hobby forums.

i.e I don't believe there is an official way to do this. But there are probably 3rd party unofficial control apps available.
