Aug 17, 2015 9:29 AM in response to aludcard666by Ralph Landry1,You have to install Windows on a BootCamp partition or under VMware, or some other interface. BootCamp is free from Apple and accepts the latest Windows versions: https://support.apple.com/kb/PH17860?locale=en_US

Aug 17, 2015 9:30 AM in response to aludcard666by mende1,You can install Windows through two ways on your Mac, always that you have got an Intel-based Mac (all Macs sold from 2005 are):
- With a virtual machine: any Windows version (64-bit versions only for Macs with Intel Core 2 Duo processor or higher).
- With Boot Camp: have a look at this article to see which Windows versions you can install -> System requirements to install Windows on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support
If you plan on installing Windows on a virtual machine, you need an app like VMware Fusion, Parallels or VirtualBox. VirtualBox is free, so you may want to give it a try before purchasing one of the others.
Respecting to Boot Camp, you have all the information you need in this website -> http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp. Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) will guide you through the process of creating a Windows installation drive, downloading the Boot Camp drivers and creating the Windows partition.
