Q: Calendar - Is there a way to copy the events in one calendar into the Family Shared Calendar or does each event need to be re-entered?

Calendar - Is there a way to copy the events in one calendar into the Family Shared Calendar or does each event need to be re-entered?  My wife (separate apple ID) has a lot of school events in her personal calendar and I (separate apple id) have a lot of events in my personal calendar.  We have recently set up Family Sharing and want to update the "Family" calendar to show all these events.  Is there a way for each of us to copy/paste all upcoming events from our personal calendars into the Family Calendar?

Back up all data. If you synchronize with iCloud, back up your iCloud calendars too.

Select one of the calendars from which you want to merge events in the calendar list. From the menu bar, select

              File ▹ Export ▹ Export…

You'll get an ICS file with the filename extension ".ics". Delete the selected calendar by right-clicking it in the list and selecting Delete from the contextual menu.

Double-click the ICS file you just created. Import the events from into the desired calendar. If everything looks right, delete the ICS file and go on to the next calendar.
