IPad Air 2 - static noises in background with headphones

So I've had my iPad Air 2 for about a month now. The headphones have been working very well on the ipad air 2 until now....

The speakers works perfectly fine. But when my headphones (Apple product) are in use, I get this very staticky noise in the background and when a video or song is played, the volume would get very loud and distored sometimes.

What do I do?

Please help me.
