Cannot import using (photo browsner) from Photos Library located on an external hard drive.

Hi, forgive my english:

I have 2 Photos Libraries, one in my Mac book pro, and the other on a external hard drive.

When a select photo browsner on the timeline, always give me the option to import from my Macbook Photos Library.

I need to do it from my Photos Library from my external hard drive. So far I couldn´t do it.

Can you help me?

No matter where your Photos library is. The point is - it should be system library. But just the only can be system library. Just set it up in Photos' preferences

Make sure the permissions to your external is set for Everyone.

Then follow the steps as per the link Russ suggested.

If you still have trouble give us a step by step of what you do and when/how the process fails.
