Q: iPad stating "Account Restriction" w/iMessage

My daughter's iPad mini has locked her out of her iMessage.  Every time we open iMessage, it states "Account Restriction,  this iPad is restricted from creating iMessage accounts."   She' shad the iPad since Aug 2014 and iMessage has been fine til recent.

When she she first got her iPad, I set up iMessage for her so she can message her friends w Apple devices.  She does not have her own iTunes, she shares it on my account.  Just recently, her she's not been able to open iMessage (see above statement).  I am not trying to create a "new iMessage acct."  All of our apple devices are up to date with current iOS.   I've checked the settings on both her iPad, my iPhone & iPad and can't seem to figure out what happened.  Any help is greatly appreciated!  Thanks

iPad Mini, iOS 8.4.1, null

    Hello AEMC2002,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you are receiving an alert while trying to open Messages on your iPad. From the sound of the question, it seems like you may have Accounts restricted to not allow changes. To change this behavior, please navigate to Settings > General > Restrictions > Accounts. The attached article explains this process more in detail.

This is not answering the question. I now have the same issue. Of course we can change the restrictions back to allow changes. The better answer would be an explanation about why we have to? My kids ipad has been messaging fine for years and now it will not without making a restriction change. My concern is deeper than just allowing for that.

After disabling the account restrictions it showed that the account logged itself out of iMessage and FaceTime (no password set). Considering that there was no possible interaction with that account by anyone as only I know my kids restriction and account password, something outside of that access would have influenced that change. Someone should know what that is and account for it.
