I can't get Server to add a remote repository (4.1.5) only option is to host a repository

Software: Server Version 4.1.5 (14S1136), Xcode version 6.4 (6E35b), OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5 (14F27)

Problem: Cannot connect Server to remote Git Repository utilizing Xcode Server and Bots

I have just installed Mac OS X Server (4.1.5) and was going through the developer documentation for setting up the continuous integration (via Server and Bots). The following are the steps I have already attempted:

1. I was stuck at trying to authenticate to .git. I had the right credentials as I had committed, pushed, and pulled successfully via Xcode as well as signed into the web client for git numerous times. I continuously received the "Authentication Failed because of incorrect username or password". Which as I stated before I know I have the correct credentials and triple checked by logging into git manually via Xcode and via the git client itself.
2. I then tried to log in via ssh. I have setup both the server and the development mac with ssh credentials. I attempted to authenticate via ssh, however the dropdown that toggles between ssh and https connection during the bot creation wizard was disabled. I have no option to authenticate via ssh and I can't authenticate via https.
3. I looked online and saw that I can add the remote repository to the server directly by going to Server->Xcode->repositories and clicking the '+' button. When I do instead of getting an option to add a remote repository or host a repository, the wizard skips directly to naming the hosted repository with no option of remote integration.

I am now at a loss as to what can be done. Please advise. Thanks!
