Wireless printer issues

I updated my Mac Book Pro to the 10.4 system and now it won't connect to my wireless HP Deskjet printer. Any suggestions on how to restore the previous system? it used to work!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
