PLEASE HELP! Unable to Locate "Re-import from Camera/Archive" in File Menu

I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.4.

My question relates to the iLife product, iMovie version 10.0.9.

I recently imported video from my Canon HD Video Camera into iMovie.

However, it gives me this text whenever I attempt to export a Movie,
"The media for this clip is still on the camera. To begin importing, select "Re-import from Camera/Archive..." from the file menu."

I follow this info, yet I find no such option in the File Menu.

I have attempted re-importing, but it doesn't solve the issue.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Thank you very much for your service and software.

I love iMovie!!!

In Gratitude,

If you cannot find the clip and play it back on the camera, you may have deleted it. In that case, you will not be able to retrieve it from the camera. If so, you may have lost it permanently (unless the clip might have been stored in the Cloud.) Compare your issue with http://discussions.apple.com/thread/7176364

If you can find the clip and play it back on the camera, the information in "Import Video" section of iMovie Help may help you import the clip again.
