internal superdrive iMac always eject DVD. Please help. Tried everything

iMac mid 2010. running yosemite 10.10.4

Every DVD auto eject within 20 seconds. CD works fine. I have tried numerous DVD, even brand new ones.

I have also tried every reset possible and imaginable. (I think) I run diagnosis no errors noticed.

OK Got it.

I have done NVRAM, PRAM, SMC 3 times each at different times in that order.

I want to mention again, the CD function, plays well, no issue.

I also tried different region DVD and none work. I do not know when this problem started, since I didn't use DVD for some times, only in the last 4 weeks, I have tried using DVD and realized it did not work anymore..


I hope this explains it well, if not, do ask more questions. I really want this to be solved, hopefully without having to have to bring it to a dealer.
