Q: Using iDVD in yosemite to make slide show terrible color rendering

I did not realize that this was such a persistent problem over time and for more than just Yosemite. I read through each posts in the thread that you referred me to. It seems that the problem was never resolved.
Is that your experience? Or did you find a work flow that was successful?

Among the discussion to which you referred me was the suggestion to import the slide show as a movie file. In my case I created a slide show in PHOTOS. Exported it as a ,m4v file. Then imported it to iDVD. The pictures might not be quite as sharp as a slide show but it worked well enough.
