This is the first podcast and I initially tried my basic xml; http://iclassifier.com/source/freeDownload.xml and it didn't work. Then I tried your suggestions and used the google smartCast to tweek my xml as new submittion http://iclassifier.com/source/freeDownload2.xml, which validates and verifies in different sites. Tried it again and still failled. I'd appreciate any help on this.
Your feed has no 'enclosure' tag containing the URL of your media file. Indeed there is no reference to a media file at all in it. Your linked web page has a link to a single MP3 file but this has not made it into the feed.

Yes, I redid the file and now it says that the feed has already been submitted. When I look in my library it doesn't exist.

There is still no 'enclosure' tag in the feed at either of the addresses you've given above.
When you resubmit a rejected feed to the Store there is a bug in the process which will tell you the feed has already been submitted, even though it was rejected. The workaround is to change the title slightly - you can change it back once accepted. If you can change the feed URL as well that would help (of course you can't easily change that back, though it can be done).
