Q: Signal box to boost reception

I have just downlaoded the latest IOS on my i phone 5 (17 Aug 2015). Following this update I cant use my signal box. Any thoughts?

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4.1

Hi
Go to Settings reset network settings
After reset enter your router wireless key .
Also turn router & signal box off for 30seconds .

Thank you for your quick reply.
Followed instructions - has made no difference to the signal strength, unfortunately.
Any more thoughts?
I am tempted to revert back to my previous IOS.
I don't know how to do that, though.

Which carriers signal box do you have ?
and you cannot downgrade the iOS

Thank you.
I am using an "EE" signal box. Woked perfectly until the upgrade to the latest IOS.
I intend to go back to the previous IOS - as soon as I can figure out how to without messing up my phone.
I backed up last night before downloading the latest IOS

When you download a softwear update you cannot go back
To the ios you had before its only a few weeks to the next big update.

If the EE has a sim card remove it and power off and check the instructions that came with it for troubleshooting
and you won't figure how to downgrade ,there is no way
FWIW my 3 box has not been affected in any way
