Q: macbook 12 bootcamp issue

I am trying to instal Windows 10 on my Macbook 12. It seems to make the bootcamp usb drive fine after downloading the latest software.

The screen asking me how much space I would like to allocate come up and allows me to select the space required.

The partition is then created and the machine re-boots.

The problem is that it re-boots into OSX and nothing else happens. The partition is still there but empty.

Any thoughts.

The windows ISO is the latest one from microsoft.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities

It looks like Boot Camp Assistant cannot change boot order to your USB drive somehow, so try doing it manually.

Plug your USB drive with the Windows installer and the Boot Camp drivers, restart your Mac and hold down the Alt key while your Mac is starting up until you see all bootable devices on the screen. Then, choose the option labelled as "Windows" with the USB icon, and the Windows installer will load up. Finally, you can follow these steps from step 4 -> How to install Windows using Boot Camp - Apple Support
