Q: transferring contacts FROM an apple watch

Contacts that appear on Apple Watch are already (and only) shared from the paired iPhone (they cannot exist only on the watch).
If you have iCloud enabled for Contacts on your iPhone, these will also be replicated in the Contacts app on a MacBook automatically (and vice versa).
