I recently purchased a new laptop and cannot get all my music on iTunes to transfer over to the new computer. I have tried to follow the step by step instructions. But have no luck.
Any suggestions?

It sounds like you are trying to get your entire iTunes library over to your new computer. The reason that some of the content may not have copied over is because it may not all be consolidated into the iTunes Media folder location. I would recommend you use the troubleshooting in the following article about doing so, and pay particular attention to the section titled "Part 2: Move any new content". That should get everything into the folder that you will later move:
