My Podcast is not showing the right podcast logo.

Question

My Podcast is not showing the right podcast logo.

We updated our podcast logo, and its not updating on the site.

We have it updated on iPhones, and to the people that are subscribed, but we can't update the one thats actually on the store, or when you go to the webpage version of the Apple Podcast store.

Any help updating, and advice on how to make it so that we can make any updates in the future easier, would be helpful.

The URL in your 'itunes:image' tag is http://celebrationchurch.cc/imgs/cforpodcast.jpg

This image is 600 x 600px and so will not be accepted. The image must be a minimum of 1400 x 1400px, RGB, JPG or PNG, and less than 500kB.

when you amend the image, make sure to give it a different file name so that the Store will know it's changed. It will probably take some days for the new image to appear in the Store.

Sorry I am new to this whole Podcast thing and I am taking over for a prior person. Where would I find this information/file in the future?

You need to create a suitable image with the parameters I described and then upload it to your server. As you should give it a different filename it won't remove the previous one, which you can remove if you wish.

You then need to enter the new image URL in wherever this information is entered in Wordpress - I'm afraid I can't advise on how to do that. Once done and the feed republished it will be a question of waiting for the Store to update, which as I say will probably take some days.
