GoPro install QuickTime 7 on PC failing

On my PC with Windows 8 and the installation keeps failing with message ul_catalog.98CB24AD_52FB etc. cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file quicktime.cab

Installing from download on Apple site, so no idea how a file can be missing from the Apple site download???
