iCloud family storage

I am maxed out on my iCloud storage (the free version) so that no more emails will be delivered. My dad has a family shared iCloud storage and sent me an invite to join the family storage plan. The catch is that I cannot receive the email invitation because my iCloud storage is full. How do I work around this glitch!?
