Aug 18, 2015 7:35 PM in response to wcsjmb143by elcpu,I'll will help you, give me a second. Ok, lets start here. Do you have a PC or a Mac? Try this first:
Disconnect your iPhone from the computer.
In iTunes on PC/Mac, click Edit, Preferences (PC) or iTunes, Preferences (Mac)
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Reset Warnings button
If the message you are getting is that the computer is not "recognized" (different than "authorized") then try this:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac - Apple Support
Post back with more details as there are lots of things that could be off.

Aug 19, 2015 7:32 PM in response to elcpuby wcsjmb143,Thank you for your help, however, I am still not able to sync after completing the steps you suggested. Let me go over what I did in more detail.
I use a Mac.
After connecting my iPhone 6 the auto sync starts. Before it finishes I get a pop-up message saying:
"The iPhone could not be synced because this computer is no longer authorized for purchased items that are on this iPhone"
To authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes store, choose Store>Authorize This Computer.
Next:
Another pop-up window comes up asking me to enter my Apple ID password for the Apple ID given. I do.
Next:
Another pop-up says: "This computer is already authorized." I hit "ok".
Then I try and sync again, but before It finishes I get the same pop-ups stating that I my computer is no longer authorized.
I am tempted to change my password but do not really think that is the problem.
