DGCI App

An App called DGCI has appeared and I am unable to remove it. Does anyone know what this is?

Hi. Would you please describe issue in more details. If you see it in the application folder try to drag it to the trash.

OS X Yosemite: Install, update, and uninstall apps

If this does not work tell us if you got any error message.

You may also try to use third party uninstaller app. I have used this one several times: http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/25276/appcleaner

Hi thunderzzz,thanks for your quick response.

I have tried all the normal things like "move to trash" but with no luck. When googling it came up with some Director General site in India, but have since found that this App is actually part of Facebook and provides completely pointless FB covers for your timeline. What is frustrating as this FB add-on would appear to be here to stay as nothing seems to shift it.
