My 2014 macbook pro 13inch which has Yosemite installed suddenly gives the option to shutdown restart or sleep but before I can click cancel it shuts down. Happens around 1 minute after boot up. Please help!

Even when i click cancel it still shuts down
You may need to try Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support.
See if that does the trick.
I tried it. Still keeps shutting down:(
Try Safe Boot:
- Shut down your Mac
- Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the Power button
- Right after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key
- Release the Shift key when you see a grey Apple sign and the progress bar below this sign
- After your Mac boots up, restart it as you usually do.
If this doesn't help, follow the instructions below:
- Shut down your Mac
- Wait until your computer turns off and after that press the Power button
- Right after you hear the startup tone, press and hold the Shift key
- Release the Shift key when you see a grey Apple sign and the progress bar below this sign
- Once you see Desktop, start a Disk Utility scan to detect and repair file system errors (don't forget to choose your main hard drive)
- Click on Verify Disk and then, if asked to fix problems, on Repair Disk
- After this, click on Verify Disk Permissions and then on Repair Disk Permissions
- After the process is finished, shut down your Mac and turn it back on after about 30 seconds

Well now it just goes to a screen with a loader under the logo and it doesn't even load halfway before it just goes blank. So im taking it to a service centre. Thanks alot for the assistance all the same:)
Well turns out the top board is broken and so is the motherboard. I can't find the receipt of purchase since I bought it from a best buy store and the warranty period starts 6 months before i got it and is therefore expired. They are asking for $800 to fix it for which i csn buy a better and more reliable windows laptop which is better than this **** apple
