It sounds like you have music and content on an iPod that you are wanting to transfer over to your computer. You should be able to transfer your iTunes Store purchases over with this article:

You should keep this in mind as well from the article:

​​This feature works only for content bought from the iTunes Store. Any items that you imported from audio CDs or received from other sources won't copy from your device to the iTunes library.
