Aug 20, 2015 1:21 PM in response to LarryHNby CoastalPhys23,Yes, it previews ok. None of the photos have yellow triangle warnings on them.
My previous version of iphoto stopped working with the photo books so i had to buy an iLife disc to upgrade iphoto to the latest version. This seemed to resolve the problem until i got to the upload stage. This is where it freezes

Aug 20, 2015 7:29 PM in response to CoastalPhys23by banks14,I also am having this same problem. The 98 page large hardback goes thru the process of assembly and then when it gets to "upload to store" it stalls and never uploads. This has been going on for over a week now. Have never had any problems previously with assembly/upload of an iphoto book. Saw something online earlier this week that mentioned Apple was having server issues. Not sure if this is true but something is up. I have tried at all different times of the day and night and still the book will not upload to the store. My preview works fine.

Aug 23, 2015 2:16 PM in response to CoastalPhys23by KKPolk,I just finished a IPhoto book and it "assembles" but will NOT load. Do I have to redo this whole thing on Shutterfly?!

Aug 23, 2015 2:47 PM in response to KKPolkby CoastalPhys23,I've finally managed to order the book but i think the problem was as i expected. Although my mac book said i had the latest version of iphoto, this note (below) appeared on the order page. I only solved it by saving my iphoto library onto a hard drive and then transferring it to a family member's mac mini. iphoto immediately updated and the book uploaded. I suspect OSX 10.6.8 isnt new enough to be able to use all features of iphoto.
Im rather exasperated with apple as they are stopping a lot of mac owners using this fantastic service.

Sep 13, 2015 12:03 PM in response to CoastalPhys23by ibd3,I phoned to apple client number last week and they told me the server was overcrowded for more than 5 or 6 weeks... so wait and try later... it was 8 days ago and it's still the same. .. i'm very surprised and disappointed of this long time to give the clients the access to this service!!!

Sep 13, 2015 3:27 PM in response to ibd3by Old Toad,Two users have talked to senior Support personnel and were told that one must upgrade to Yosemite and either use iPhoto 9.6.1 or the new Photos to upload the the finished book:
Re: greeting card will not upload; it assembles but no upload
Re: iPhoto book not uploading to the store. Quits after assembling
So we're left with either upgrading to Yosemite, getting iPhoto 9.6.1 and ordering or keep trying with what we have and hope it goes thru or Apple fixes the problem. Some users reported success after repeated attempts over time.
Also report your problem to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html as the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
