Q: Are there different versions of the battery connector board in A1425 MacBook Pro 13" Retina Late 2012?

Hi there, I´ve been trying to find a battery replacement for my A1425 MacBook Pro 13" Retina Late 2012 however all available

020-7652-A models (third party) turned out to differ from the original by one missing bore hole at the battery connector board.

I already ended up with two battery purchases where the photo indicated the correct version but then ended up with the wrong one upon delivery.

Any idea if there is a different version number or how to ensure to get the correct version?

I would suggest that bring the computer to the Apple store to have it checked out.
