Q: How can I stop purchased songs from automatically syncing

I don't want every song I ever purchased synced to my iphone.  I haven't checked purchased songs for syncing, but it does anyway.  How can I stop it?

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.4.1, null

     Hi ctfeher,

From your post I understand you are seeing all of your purchased songs on your iPhone, even though you have not selected them to sync to it.  On your iPhone I'd like you to check a setting in the Music app, specifically the setting to enable Music Available Offline.  If the music appears only when it is disabled, then you are just seeing your available purchased music to stream.

You can view just songs, albums, playlists that you saved for offline listening:

    • iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: In the My Music tab, tap Library. Then tap any of the different views (Artists, Albums, etc.), and enable Music Available Offline.

Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library - Apple Support

    Take care.
