Ever since 2 iOS updates ago... I haven't been able to update my iPhone 5c. When I try to update it I get this error message:
"iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. The session ID is missing."
I saw no previous issues like this... anyone know what's going on?

I see from your post that you're getting an error message when you plug your iPhone into your Mac that says, "iTunes could not connect to this iPhone. The session ID is missing." To start troubleshooting this issue I'd like you to please try the options below.

I have the same issue on ipad mini and two iphone 6's. it happens on home laptop and work desktop - both mac. it takes the update but has been consistent with all of my devices.
I've got an iPad 3 that's done that for every upgrade since it was new.
What is a "Session ID" and why's it missing?
