Does anybody know how I can get my Final cut pro to work again. When I launch it states that it does not work with current OS?

Probably you just need to upgrade FC, don't you think?
I would believe Final Cut would require a update. Have you checked for updates?
Did you originally acquire the app through the App Store…or by some other means?
Russ
I can not find any upgrades, looks like it is up to date.I bought the program directly from apple.
if you’re still on v10.0.9 or older, updates might not appear and you may have to do this:
If Final Cut Pro X, Motion, or Compressor updates don’t appear on your Mac

since media management changed a lot since then, be sure to review the links below, especially the youtube videos:

What version is it?
Russ
10.1
10.1 when I start FC up it states that it cannot start this app with OS
When you lunch App Store icon doesn't it offer you to upgrade the app?
No it does not.I even went to the app store to purchase 10.2 and of course it says that I already have FC.No matter what i do it will not start.Might have to bring it to the "genius bar"
MMove the application to the trash and redownload it from the Purchases page.
Tom,you are not going to believe this but i can not move it to the trash.??
I'm not either...
SElect it in the Applications folder and press Cmd-delete. What happens? Make sure there is no other mounted drive or partition with a copy of the application.
A couple of other ways:
1) Launch Launchpad and holde down the option key/ Click the x.
2) Control click the dot app icon in Applications. Click Move to Trash.
