Q: purchase by mistake

my son purchased a lot in one day by mistake, i went to "report a problem" and disputed, can some one tell how this works?

    If you used the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support then you should have received an acknowledgment email (or emails if you reported separate purchases from that site), and within 48 hours you should get a proper reply from them saying whether or not they'll refund you - if they say that they will refund you then how long the refund takes will depend upon what was used for the purchase, if an account's balance then it might be a few days, if a credit card it might take a week or so.

     

    If the purchases were made on an iOS device then to try and stop it happening again you can use Settings > General > Restrictions on the device to prevent in-app purchases, to require your password to be entered for every purchase, and you can hide the App Store ('Installing Apps') and iTunes store apps.

    I accidentally downloaded a App for music UTube for iPad. Already have U tube & iHeart radio on iPad & iPhone!

    THen they notify me after a trial period, it will cost $12.99! HELP!
