Im going on vacation soon, and i BOUGHT, not rented 3 movies. I wanted to know if i can use them without wifi. The movies are downloading right now, but when they are downloaded that means i have them on the device right?

Correct, you do not need wifi/internet once they are fully download.

Yes, they do playback once downloaded or synced to the device without an internet connection.
