Safari blocking fullscreen in Youtube

Hello,

When I attempt to make my YouTube video full screen I get an event beep sound as if something is blocking it. It takes me back to the website, and then only the upper left quadrant of the video can be seen within the YouTube window. I have to refresh the page to get back to square one. I have deleted all of my cookies and temporary internet files to no avail.

Please advise.

From the Safari menu bar, select

Safari Preferences... Extensions

Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
