Hi, the problem is that the iOS architecture does not allow all apps to do whatever they want in the background. Whatsapp, relays on notifications to work with Whatsapp Web.

The Solution:

Go to: Setting-General-Notifications-Whatsapp-)

Turn on: notifications and select an option on how you will like to be notified such as Alert/Banner/None

Make sure: to select: "Show on Lock Screen" in the same setting!

Try

Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings

It works for me.

Contact WhatsApp support and as them since it's their app you're having trouble with.

It is because the iphone got disconnected... im not receiving any other notifications.... what can i do??
