Since moving to ios 8.4.1, emails on my phone disappear when they have been read from the server by my desk-top. This did not happen with ios 7. What is wrong with my mail settings?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.4.1

Hi lhiggs,

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap the email account you want to change. Tap Advanced. Tap Remove. Make sure the time frame is set to Never. If it is, the problem could be that your email on the phone is set to POP3, which doesn't always support multiple devices. Try deleting and adding the mail account as IMAP.
