Itunes Won't Open - Windows 7

My itunes won't open after I click on the icon, it shows "waiting"(spinning circle) for 1 sec and then disappears.

I have not downloaded or changed anything on my Windows 7 operating system and I have not updated Itunes in the recent past. What is going on and how do I get to my Itunes? Thank you!
