I see that other people used Mr Clean magic eraser to clean stains and dirt off the sports watch band, but won't or didn't that wreck it more? I have the pink band, I wore a brand new dark shirt and I'm guessing the color transferred to the band. I don't want to make things worse, but I'm mad that it even happened, it wrecks the nice vibrant pink,
My daughter has the white sport band on her Apple Watch. She has just removed it from the watch and washed it off in mild soap and water and it comes out as white as the day she bought it.
I tried a soft towel, dipped in water and it didn't come clean. I know it's just dye that rubbed off the new shirt, but I don't want to rub too hard and peel off or wreck the colour of the band.
I doubt that mild soap would be a problem. Something gentle is all you need. She literally dipped the band in the water and wiped it with hand soap and a washcloth. Worked perfectly.
I'll try as soon as I get home from work. Was it just a little everyday dirt, or was it more of a dye issue like I'm having.
Lord only knows with her. She is a college student and was working in a kid's summer camp, so it could have been just about anything.
perfect, that gives me hope! I'm so fussy with my stuff, and didn't even think to just not wear it with a dark shirt that may "bleed". I'll try it tonight and really hope it works. I like when my stuff looks new, and with how much they cost, I really don't want a stained band.
I understand. Worse case scenario is if you have to purchase a new band. I saw them in the Apple Store for $49 each I believe. Good luck.

I have a white sports band. I had very bad staining that wouldn't come off with anything, even alcohol. I used acetone (nail polish remover) as suggested on another thread, and it looks as good as the day I bought it! Not sure if it would work on pink, but it's worth a try before you go out and buy a new one!
