Content of all my keynotes not searchable anymore

I had 40 Gb of Keynotes on my old Macbook Pro. I cloned my old MBP to my new one and so far so good. But whenever I try to search inside the Keynotes via Spotlight, nothing pops up. This is driving me mad since it's crucial for me to be able to search inside the Keynotes.

I searched all forums and tried this:

1.Reset Spotlight

Via Terminal commands

2. Reset ALC

User rights were reset

3. Killed the complete index

Via +(add disk) in Spotlight via System Settings and then - (the disk)

4. Installed dedicated search tools

Installed easy find and FT Search, two professional tools that do raw search on any given file. Now it comes: these tools couldn't look inside the Keynotes either!

I fear that no one will reply to this problem since it's so specific. But if you have an idea to fix it, even the slightest, please reply.

Solved the problem the hard way.

1.Didn't do a carbon copy clone, but a Time Machine backup

3. reformatted disk and installed fresh Yosemite

4. In 42 mins, the TM was done.

Presto, it all worked again!
