Were you updating W7 to Windows 10? The 20Kb disk0s4 shows that it did exist but was overwritten. The strangest part is the MBR has MBR 2 and 3 marked as bootable. Were there any attempts made to correct the MBR through some utility?

No..I just update to the latest win7 based system, and I don't even know about the other MBR parts.

I have just rechecked disk utility and here is the snapshot. Yes there are two unknown partition parts there and I have no idea what is this.

I will try to re-run testdisk and upload some snapshot later.

If there is no way to recover the data at least you could help me find the way to bring back the partition alive.

You have two separate issues.

1. Your entire disk was converted from a GUID Partition Table (GPT) disk to an MBR Disk as shown in your GPT output where the line 0: says 'Fdisk_partition_scheme'. On a Mac with a single-disk, disk0 should always be a GPT disk. Your disk utility screen shot confirms it and shows the disk as an MBR disk.

2. Your Windows partition seems to be buried somewhere. If you ran Testdisk using EFI/GPT, you may not get correct results. We should first correct the GPT and make it a GPT disk with a Hybrid MBR.

Please try and remember the exact sequence of events as it happened. It will provide information that will help recovery.

1. Did you boot in Windows 7 and then execute a Windows 10 update or did you use BC Assistant to create a Windows 10 installation disk and try to reinstall W10?

2. Did the W10 upgrade ask you to change/modify any partitions?

3. Did you get any black screens before the Mac crashed?

4. Are you trying to upgrade from W7 32-bit to W10 32-bit?

5. What is the exact year/model of your Mac? Please do not post the serial number of your Mac.

6. What is the version of OS X you are currently running?

7. Is your Mac list in Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support as a qualified Mac for Windows 10?

Hi Loner,

I have upgraded to Yosemite and not seeing my Bootcamp harddrive. Please see the output of the commands mentioned above. I have created a bootable usb for my macbook pro (early 2011) but don't see any of the bootcamp partition and usb drive when I press "Option" during "reboot".
