Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If your iPhone can connect to the internet but you see "no connection available" in the Mail app, first force the app to close using the steps in Force an app to close in iOS.
If the error message continues, try steps 2 - 5 in Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
