iOS 8.4 Outlook Activesync Skype/Lync meeting Issue

Hello,

Our users are trying to use the lync app to conduct meetings on their iPhone. When they send the Lync meeting link to an iCloud email, or gmail account, the meeting numbers are readable, and useable, but if you send the meeting link to an Outlook(ActiveSync) account, the dial in number links show up as a URL, and not a hyperlink. You can't touch the link to make automatic calls; you have to dial the full number in yourself. It happens both on the calendar and within the Lync Mobile App

Here is Microsoft’s reference to it: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3015401

Here is the link back to Apple –where Microsoft is saying they addressed it: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1794?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_UShttps://support.apple.com/kb/DL1794?locale=en_US&viewlocale=en_US

Although the Apple KB states this issue was fixed in iOS 8.2, my iPhone and iPad are running iOS 8.4 (current released version), and this issue is not fixed. This issue is specific to ActiveSync, if the meeting invite is sent to an iCloud email address (which does not use ActiveSync, but uses a version of IMAP4 I believe) or Google Mail, which uses IMAP4, and then the meeting invite looks OK

Is there a device, or app, setting that will fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thanks!
