Q: New update won't let me drag music into iTunes from a folder on my laptop.

I have Windows on my laptop and after this most recent iTunes update, it does not let me drag music into my iTunes playlist anymore (while device is connected). It just gives me the "No" symbol. I was able to do this before the update, don't know what changed but I would REALLY like to be able to update the music I have on my phone. Any help is greatly appreciated. The last few iTunes updates have been very frustrating.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand that you're trying to manually manage some music, specifically playlists, on your iPhone by using iTunes. If you're unable to sync the content then you might have Apple Music with iCloud Music Library enabled on the iPhone. Take a look a the information below to learn more.

If you're a member of Apple Music or have an iTunes Match subscription, you have iCloud Music Library turned on. When you have iCloud Music Library turned on, you can't manually manage music. You can still manage videos using the steps below.
