The latest iTunes update (12.2.2.25) for windows has broken media keyboard shortcuts. I've verified this on 2 separate windows computers (windows 7 and 8 pro) prior to the most recent update, the keyboard media shortcuts would allow me to play, pause, and skip tracks. Not anymore.
BTW this feature still works in Spotify... so for the time being I have switched back. Please fix.

Same thing happened to me since the last update... driving me nuts.. Logitech keyboard was working with no issues before update, now if i restart my computer the play/forward/rewind buttons work for a little while but then just stop.. please fix....
Same issue here - driving me nuts. I didn't realize how much I used my media keys until I couldn't! 😝
