Q: Constant "Rebuffering stream" on Preview

Hi! -

 

Whenever I try to preview a track, it will not play for more than about 5 sec until it stops and I get a "Rebuffering stream" window.  I have never had this problem before.  I am on 12.2.1.16 65 bit.

 

Any suggestions?  I have tried many things to no avail...

Hello hb,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

 

I see from your post that you're unable to preview tracks in the iTunes Store on your Windows PC.  Since you're on iTunes version 12.2.1, the first step I want you to take is to update iTunes to the most recent version.

 

Windows

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. If the menu bar isn't showing, hold down the Control and B keys to open it. Learn more about the iTunes for Windows menu bar. 
  3. From the menu bar, choose Help > Check for Updates.
  4. Follow the prompts to install the latest version.
