DDoes this happen on all transitions and effects? Start by trashing preferences, repairing permissions, and reinstallING. If it still doesn't work, test in a new user.

IT resets to the default but you change it to your saved set in the Command Editor.

DO you have legacy Motion installed as well?

TRy testing in a new user.

MMore likely a conflict with something in your user account. Maybe related to the legacy version of Motion if it wasn't uninstalled fully.

I realise this is an old post, but I have the same problem. Do I need to reinstall Motion? Or FCP X?

Thanks for picking this up.

It's fine in another user, installed and reinstalled both anyway, trashing preferences and no luck - still can't copy any titles to Motion. Do I need to change my preferences in System Preferences? I'm on El Capitan 10.11.6. I don't know what I should be changing.
