Nov 19, 2015 3:03 AM in response to Uwe Grunewaldby paulfromindio,Thank you Uwe. I do have automatic send / receive enabled with no luck.
With the link I posted (go contact sync Mod) and Windows 10, I am able to access the phone storage to install and manage pictures so the need for iTunes is greatly reduced.

Nov 19, 2015 11:04 AM in response to richard0383by alex_h1,Hey There Richard,
I see that you're wondering about iCloud for Windows being compatible with Outlook 2016. Currently iCloud for Windows does not support Outlook 2016, but an updated version is coming out soon which will support it. Check out the information below to find out more:
iCloud for Windows currently supports Outlook 2007 through Outlook 2013. Support for Outlook 2016 will be available in an updated release soon. If you use Outlook 2016, you can access iCloud Mail, Contacts, and Calendars on iCloud.com.
Download iCloud for Windows - Apple Support
Take care.

Finally I think (hope?!) that we have 'official' confirmation that Apple are working on this and we shouldn't have to wait much longer........

Nov 19, 2015 1:15 PM in response to alex_h1by Ourdoc,Thanks for the extremely late response. But it's too late, because of Apples ignoring this problem for too long, I just bought a Surface Pro instead of an iPad pro. Only thing left to do is to replace my iPhone. Let Apple know they should have acted in a responsible time, which as usual, they refused to do. They have pushed alot of people away with this BS response including my entire household.

Nov 19, 2015 2:25 PM in response to alex_h1by BWWiggs,Alex_h1 and others here,
I have been in contact with a Sr Adviser at Apple, iCloud Team and she reported to me on Wednesday "...I just got notice that there will be support for Outlook 2016 soon so they are working on something."
I think we have their attention and something is going to get done. I cannot tell you how long 'soon' is but I will continue to bird dog this until we get this problem solved.
Has anyone get given an promising response like this from an official source at Apple? It would be good that we keep the contact information for these people handy should this mess go south.

Nov 20, 2015 12:00 AM in response to richard0383by VIMPIE,Same issue here.
I had it running fine, until I did a fresh install of Windows 10 and all programs earlier this week .
After the upgrade to iOS9 on my iPad 3rd generation making it horribly slow and doing nothing spectacular to the very "closed" operating system, this is the final Apple-showstopper for me. (But yeah; don't look a gift horse/iPad in the mouth...)
Never used Apple mail so just moving away from Apple to my Exchange (Office 365) account for contacts and calendar does the trick. No cross-platform (we also have Android devices in the house) issues there and problem closed for me. Had no intention to wait any longer for a solution by the fruit company.
(Sorry: English is not my native language but I'm quite upset in mine .)

Nov 20, 2015 12:13 AM in response to VIMPIEby maxtub,Yesterday I decided to abandon the Apple services.
I have all contacts and caendario Gmail and now I manage everything from the site.
If you need to manage contacts and calendar with a program, I will use "One Calendar" and the app contacts of Windows 10.
For now I feel good.
Hello Hello Apple
Sorry if my English is not perfect ...

Nov 20, 2015 6:14 AM in response to richard0383by iMinnesotan,I've run out of patience with this problem on my wife's PC. Over the weekend I plan to permanently migrate her calendar to her outlook.com account and reconfigure her iPhone with the Outlook app and be done with iCloud calendar and contacts. If anyone has tried this configuration and feels it's a mistake then let me know.

Nov 20, 2015 7:10 AM in response to iMinnesotanby paulfromindio,I've not been successful getting this to work. In theory it should but the issue seems to be getting outlook 2016 to constantly "talk" to outlook.com and update contacts and calendar. I'll presume outlook.com to the phone will work.
I've been looking for a good set of written instructions on how to achieve this through Exchange Active Sync (EAS) without any luck. Have you found nay ?

Well it seems we have finally got their attention - Here's hoping that 'soon' isnt too long. But lets not just wait. Keep sending the feedback to apple to keep them on their toes!

Nov 20, 2015 7:07 AM in response to Besomdaveby IluvmyiPAD,ATTN Apple: With over 40,045 views of this discussion it would have been nice to see an official response from Apple here on the discussion board. I agree I'm hoping soon is MUCH sooner then later. We have been waiting on this Apple for quite sometime now.
