iPhone 4S Wi-Fi Issues

Ok, so i've been recently experiencing a lot of issues with my iPhone 4S and my connection.

My connection has been randomly dropping over the past few days, and every time i go to the wi-fi settings, no networks show up. If i try to connect manually, it says "Could not scan for a wireless network." And, occasionally, my wi-fi automatically turns off and the option dims out and won't let me turn it back on

I've already tried a number of things, like resetting network settings, restarting my router, and even factory resetting, but none have worked.

I have no idea what else i can do to stop the problems.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Howdy Max,

If I understand you correctly you have an intermittent issue with your iPhone dropping the connection to your Wi-Fi network, and even the option to use Wi-Fi being grayed out on your iPhone, is that right?

I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - If Wi-Fi is grayed out or dim on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
