Instructions to set up old iMac (Snow Leopard), no DVD

Hi! Was recently given an old 2006 iMac running 10.6.8 for my personal use. For complete specs, please check out the following link:

I'd like to delete existing user accounts and reformat to start fresh but how do I go about that without the installation DVDs? Will an install dvd for Snow Leopard on a Macbook work on the iMac as an alternative? Your suggestions and expertise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
