Q: Apple TV not seeing my computer

I have an ATV hooked up to a TV in my house and home sharing with my computer. It was worked great until yesterday when i got the message "turn home sharing" on for the computer using XXX apple id. Well days later i have no resolution to this. I have restarted, rebooted, restored, updated, signed in and out and nothing has worked. all the online support is very old for this issue and could not find anything recent. can anyone out there please let me know what i can do to get my ATV to see my computer.
