How can I hide the Faces tags in iPhoto 9.6?
I'd like to be able to look at my photos without the Faces tags across them. Surprisingly, I couldn't find the answer in iPhoto Help.
Thanks.

Guessing ( you do not provide the information ) that you are looking in the info window to the right of "faces" click the triangle so they do not show

OT and Larry, you are both terrific. In this case the point goes to Larry: the Select All and click in info box didn't work, but at the moment I am just fine with clicking the triangle on just the photo I'm looking at. (I still feel silly when the solution is right in front of me and I didn't know it. And the "help" search didn't find it either.)
Thanks.
You are welcome

In the Photos top menu, 'File' then 'Hide Face Names' (in the third section of the drop down just under Metadata)
That's a different application - Photos - not iPhoto. There is no such command in iPhoto.
Ah apologies for the confusion. At least Apple has addressed it in its latest application. I doubt it will do the same for iPhotos.
As the thread explains this was solved for iPhoto some time ago.
