my phone been saying search for past few days, so i took it to a phone shop he told me to reset my phone and connect it to my itunes to activate it now it wont work. im so angry as he told me to do it now they cant do anything with my phone,

Please describe in detail how you tried to activate your phone using iTunes.
Hi
Turn off iPhone
Connect lead to USB on your PC
Press & hold power button Down DONOT let go on iPhone .
Connect lead to iPhone keep power button pressed down
Until PC sees iphones wait for restore .
You may need to do this a few times before it works.

TThat did help a lot, but now it kept saying connect to older verson of iTunes so i have and it wont work then keeps saying could be that you have old version of iTunes cant win!
