If you see unexpected pixels on your iPod nano display, first restart the device by pressing the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for six seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If you still see pixelation on the screen, restore the iPod using the steps in Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings.
After this, if you still see pixelation, your iPod may need service:
